This Cabernet has become my go-to for everything from backyard fire pit nights to nice dinners at home. What I love is how versatile it is. It's perfect for sipping and conversation or pairing it with a home-cooked meal. It holds its own without stealing the show. There's enough structure to stand up to a good steak, but it's approachable enough that you don't need a special occasion to open a bottle. It's one of those wines that makes you pour a second glass without thinking twice. Whether you're keeping it casual or dressing up dinner at home, this one delivers every time!

This is a lovely wine. It drank very smoothly. I shared it with family and friends on a summer evening next to the fire pit. I'm excited to see how it opens up over the next few days/weeks. We opened it at room temperature and then put the box in the fridge to bring it down closer to a cellar temp, which we enjoyed very much.

My wife and I really enjoyed the Sauvignon. It was fresh, bright, crisp and left you wanting more. The only thing missing were the oysters. It remained charming for two weeks in the refrigerator as we nursed it. It took me a while to figure out how to secure the spigot. Instructions are on the bottom of the box. A small instruction picture would be more helpful. We plan on ordering again. Cole Armstrong did a great job seducing us to try it.

Meet Our Winemaker

Christophe Paubert’s career was shaped inside some of the world’s most prestigious cellars. From Bordeaux to Ribera del Duero, and Chile to Napa, where the standard is absolute and nothing average gets through.

That is the standard he brings to Bloc.

Ask Christophe about the craft, though, and he will point somewhere else entirely: the vineyard, the fruit, and the conditions that shape the wine long before it reaches the cellar.

Why Boxed Wine

Each box holds the equivalent of four bottles of wine in a lighter, more efficient format. That means less spent on excess packaging and heavy shipping and more of the product value can go where it matters most: the wine.

Bloc Wines stay fresh for up to 30 days after opening. An airtight tap protects the wine from oxygen so every glass tastes as good as the first.

3L per box. Each box includes four bottles’ worth of wine in every 3L box so you always have plenty of wine on tap.

Up to 75% lower carbon footprint. Each box of wine is made with packaging that reduces carbon emissions by up to 75% when compared to the same wine in glass bottles.
